Bike Seats
A child bike seat is one of the easiest ways to start biking with your baby or toddler. It’s both lighter and cheaper than a trailer, and depending on the type of seat you choose, likely much more interactive!
There are three different categories of bikes seats. Front-mounted seats give you a special, bonding ride with younger toddlers. Rear-mounted seats fit a wider range of ages. And open, top-tube seats let you take kids mountain biking with you.
We’ve tested 20+ bike seats on a variety of bikes, kids in tow, and on city streets, bike paths, and singletrack.
