Balance Bikes
A balance bike is the fastest way to get your little one riding a real bike. There are no pedals, so kids learn to balance and coast first. Most kiddos who start on a balance bike are able to move to a pedal bike at a young age and never need training wheels.
Unfortunately, the market is flooded with balance bikes. Some are heavy, lack traction, or are just plain junk. That’s why we’ve tested 50+ of them for you. We use real kids (ours, the neighbors’, and the crew at the pump track) and test the bikes on sidewalks, dirt paths, and everything in between.
