We get emails from parents all the time asking how to get their kids involved in cycling programs and clubs.  Rather than answering each one individually, we’ve asked parents and coaches and cycling advocates around the country to help crowdsource a list state-by-state. 

What follows is a round-up of rides, clubs, velodromes, and other programs that cater to kids and teens.  Some of these are competitive, some are just for fun.

The Rascals are a family of three. Kristen (mom), Blair (dad), and Parker (kiddo). We started Rascal Rides when Parker was born and we didn’t want to give up our passion for biking. As we learned, we shared. Over the years, we’ve tested hundreds of kids bikes, helmets, bike trailers, and more.

  4. Hi Kristen, I noticed that you listed Trips for Kids in the organization list, thank you! However, we have 75 chapters throughout the US and Canada, which are not listed in the state directory. Your readers can find our chapters here: https://www.tripsforkids.org/chapter-directory/

    In addition to one-time Discovery Rides and multiple-ride Adventure Clubs we also provide Earn-a-Bike and Youth@Work programs, and Mobile versions of these programs.
